well  I can definitely say I have alot of mom scout badges when It come to going to the ER... went last night when my son's fever spiked to 105!    (rectal)     When I went to the ER there were four other families with toddlers    having the same high fever... doctor did alot of tests and said it was just a virus that he would have to ride out...... be on the lookout
